Simon Says is based on the children’s game in which “Simon” gives orders to do actions. The catch is that the followers should only do what “Simon says….” The piece goes forward phrase by phrase with Simon’s directions, with only one “oh, no!” moment! There’s imitation between the hands with a focus on fourth and second intervals, like a little etude. Two versions included: with and without lyrics.
